Description of design:  Michael the Archangel is standing guard, protecting us from evil.  He is wearing a princes crown, since he is the Prince of the Angels. He is holding the fiery sword and another sword. The celtic knots, symbolizing endless faith, are in each of the upper corners.  This specific celtic knot is known as

Michael

the Triquetra, latin for 3 cornered.  It is the symbol of the Holy Trinity; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. [Special note about the glass selection:  Drapery Glass was used on this window.]  .Michael means: "Who is like God?" and was the warcry of the good angels in the battle fought in heaven against satan and his followers.

"One of the Chief Princes'" and leader of the forces of heaven in their triumph over the powers of hell. He has been especially honored and invoked as patron and protector by the Church from the time of the Apostles.
