Description of
Design: Raphael the
Archangel
is kneeling on the earth, piercing his sword through its
center, to heal the earth. His eyes are closed to
show not only his strength and will to heal the earth, but
he is also known for healing the blind. His jacket and pants
are emerald green, the color that most represents him. The
celtic knots, symbolizing endless faith, are in each of
the upper corners. This specific celtic knot is known as
the Triquetra, latin for 3 cornered. It is the
symbol of the Holy Trinity; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
