Cynthia Gallagher grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,
where she always admired the tall stained glass windows that adorned
the churches she attended on Sunday. In 1985 she attended Wor-Wic
Tech Community College, in Salisbury Maryland, to learn how to make
stained glass windows. Since then she has filled many homes and churches
with stained glass windows of her design and fabrication. She also
specialized in restoration of stained glass windows and had the opportunity
to work with eleven other professionals in Chicago, Illinois to help
restore a 102 year old Louis Comfort Tiffany Window 24' high. In
addition, she was subcontracted to help remove an 18' in diameter
dome in preparation for restoration at the Smithsonian Institute,
which required much documentation and expertise in the care of the
piece of art that hung 30 feet from the floor.
